What is the likelihood of jail time for 1st time forgery offense?

I was given permission to handle all of the accounting by one of my clients (obviously not signing the owners name to checks though). I wrote 2 checks for vendors and 4 of my payroll checks. Cl 5 felony with 6 counts. When I found out the owner filed charges, I turned myself into the police station. I've never been in trouble before and worry about my 3 1/2 year old (am a single mom). I am getting a public defender and really want to offer to do community service and even pay back my wages (although they were earned) to the client who filed charges.
