How to file for divorce if I am living abroad?

I live abroad and my work requires me to travel globally and for extended periods. If I can give POA (Power of Attorney) to someone trustworthy is it possible for me to file for divorce? I am an Indian and ours is a Hindu marriage and divorce needs to be filed in India.
