My friend wont talk to me!?

ok i met him in florida..and he gave me a kiss on the last night he was there.. and the next day i said "i think.. i love you" over a text and he said you barely know me and i said did i make it awkward and he said no and then since that night he hasnt said anything to me and he wont answer me and he lives in georgia and i live in tennesse and i al least wanna be his friend help me please! he means a lot to me!
